Scattered Automatic Expression Association

About Scattered Automatic Expression Association

Scattered Automatic Expression Association focuses on employment readiness and workplace inclusion for English-speaking neurodivergent youth and adults across Quebec.

Community Context

Neurodivergent jobseekers often encounter challenges related to workplace communication, stress management, and understanding expectations, which can affect job retention. Many services do not adequately account for these realities, leaving individuals under-supported despite their strong motivation to work.

COF-Supported Project

The organization is introducing Scattered Minds in the Workplace, an employment-literacy initiative for English-speaking neurodivergent youth and young adults.

The project features:

  • Workshops on workplace communication, conflict resolution, and self-advocacy
  • Personalized employment navigation support
  • Support in translating lived experience into employment-relevant skills

Delivered in short, repeatable cycles, the project allows participants to engage based on their immediate needs while building confidence and long-term job readiness over time.
